The Federal Agency Digital Guidelines Initiative (FADGI) is driving the transition from paper records and audio-visual materials to fully digital records in government offices in the United States. As of June 30, 2024, all federal agencies will only accept digital content that meets FADGI 3-Star guidelines. Most physical documents will no longer be a part of archives.
